Terms of Use

Storm Context Engine · effective October 6, 2026

By using www.stormcontext.com (“the site”), run by Storm Context Engine (“we”), you agree to these terms.

1. Not an official forecast

The site is an educational tool. It shows model guidance, ensemble statistics, simulated imagery and historical climatology to help you understand tropical cyclones. It is not official forecast or warning guidance. For decisions that protect life and property, use the National Hurricane Center, your local National Weather Service office and your local emergency management, and follow official evacuation orders.

2. Model output can be wrong

Forecast models, ensembles and AI weather models often disagree and are often wrong, and AI models are experimental. Simulated radar, rainfall and satellite pictures show what one model forecast, not what will happen. Data can be late, incomplete or unavailable.

3. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t disrupt or overload the site, scrape it in ways that degrade it for others, or use it to redistribute third-party data in breach of that data’s license.

6. Data sources and credits

Showing these data does not imply that NOAA, ECMWF, Google, NASA or any other provider endorses the site.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll post the new version here with its effective date. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
